There are different types of grinding processes and grinding machines for diamond grinding wheels. HNHONGXIANG will explain some professional grinding knowledge to help you better understand and purchase diamond grinding wheels.

What should be paid attention to when using grinding wheel?
1. The diameter of the diamond grinding wheel chuck shall not be less than one-third of the diameter of the installed grinding wheel. The diameter of the grinding wheel chuck for cutting off the grinding wheel shall not be less than a quarter of the diameter of the grinding wheel to be installed.
2. For any type of grinding wheel chuck, the diameter of the left and right parts and the radial width of the pressing surface must be equal.
3. The surfaces of the grinding wheel chuck should be smooth and without sharp edges, and well balanced.
4. All rotating parts on the grinding machine, such as diamond grinding wheels, motors, pulleys and workpiece headstocks, etc., must be equipped with protective covers. The protective cover should be firm, and its connection strength should not be lower than the strength of the protective cover.
Diamond flat grinding wheel is suitable for grinding parallel plane quenched parts, high-precision stamping dies, high-precision parts, such as rolling bearing rings, piston rings, etc. The flatness that surface grinding can achieve is generally 6~5, and the surface roughness can reach Ra1. 0~0. 2μm.
The types of grinding wheels commonly used in surface grinding in our company are: 1A1, 12V9 .
Surface Grinding of Diamond Grinding Wheels
Surface grinding is the most commonly used grinding process and is used in almost all grinding fields to produce flat surfaces. Surface grinding uses a rotating grinding wheel to remove material from the surface of the workpiece, making the surface of the workpiece flat and smooth. Surface grinding produces flat, angled or contoured surfaces by feeding the workpiece in a horizontal plane beneath a rotating grinding wheel. Workpieces are usually magnetically attached to the table and can be ground with either a traversing or rotating motion of the table. Most surface grinders use a horizontal spindle that adjusts up and down to allow the edge or surface of the grinding wheel to contact the workpiece. Surface grinding wheels include alumina grinding wheels, silicon carbide grinding wheels, diamond and cbn grinding wheels.Surface Grinder
A surface grinder is a type of grinder. The diamond grinding disc is mainly used to rotate the workpiece to achieve the required flatness. According to the shape of the workbench, it can be divided into two types: rectangular workbench and circular workbench. The main parameters of the rectangular workbench surface grinder are the width and length of the workbench. The main parameter of the shaped workbench is the diameter of the workbench. According to the different types of shafts, it can be divided into horizontal shaft and vertical shaft grinders. Such as M7432 vertical axis circular table surface grinder, 4080 horizontal axis rectangular table surface grinder.
