Introduction of Diamond Abrasive Paste
-2023-03-13 14:10:45 -
1. Diamond Abrasive Paste Product types and application
Oil-soluble is mainly used for load mechanical grinding, and polishing of hard alloy, alloy steel, high carbon steel, and other high-hard material parts.
Water solubility is mainly used for fine grinding of metallographic and petrographic samples.

2. Product Features
Diamond/(cubic boron nitride) CBN abrasive paste is finely formulated with diamond/(cubic boron nitride) CBN micro powder and other raw materials.
Light is an ideal abrasive paste with good lubricating and cooling properties, among which diamond/(cubic boron nitride) CBN particles have high hardness and uniform particle size
The grinding effect is good.

3. Application scope
The diamond abrasive paste is suitable for measuring tools, cutting tools, optical instruments, and other high-gloss materials made of high-hardness materials such as glass, ceramics, hard alloys, natural diamonds, and gemstones.
Cleanliness workpiece processing.

4. Selection of diamond/CBN abrasive paste
The choice of diamond/CBN abrasive paste is mainly determined according to the requirements of the workpiece finish, processing efficiency, and the original finish of the workpiece.
If the margin is large and high processing efficiency is required, a coarser grain size can be selected; if the margin is small and a high finish is required, a finer grain size can be selected

5. Matters needing attention when using diamond/cubic boron nitride abrasive paste
According to the material and processing requirements of the workpiece, select the appropriate grinding device and grinding paste. Commonly used grinders are glass, cast iron, steel, aluminum, plexiglass
Blocks and plates made of other materials, water or glycerin as the diluent for water-soluble abrasive pastes; kerosene for oil-soluble abrasive pastes.
1. Diamond/ CBN grinding is a kind of precision machining, which requires the environment and tools to be clean, and the tools used require each particle size
They are for exclusive use and must not be used in combination.
2. The workpiece must be carefully cleaned before changing to a different particle size abrasive paste during processing, so as to prevent the coarse particles from the previous process from being mixed into the fine particle size grinding
Scratch the workpiece in the paste.
3. When using, squeeze a small amount of grinding paste into the container or directly on the grinding device, and dilute it with water, glycerin, or kerosene. Generally, the ratio of water paste is 1:1.
It can be adjusted according to the on-site usage conditions. For the finest particles, only a small amount of water is needed, and an appropriate amount of glycerin is added as the particle size increases.
4. After grinding, the workpiece should be cleaned with gasoline, kerosene, or water.
